Lois-Ann Yamanaka

Lois-Ann Yamanaka was born on the island of Moloka’i in Hawaii. She has written three novels, Heads by Harry (FSG, 1996); Blu’s Hanging (1997); and Wild Meat and the Bully Burgers (FSG, 1999); and a collection of stories in verse, Saturday Night at the Pahala Theatre (Bamboo Ridge Press, 1993). She has also published several children’s books. Her latest, Snow Angel, Sand Angel, is forthcoming in 2022.
