Lan Samantha Chang

Lan Samantha Chang's most recent novel, The Family Chao (W.W. Norton 2022), was a winner of an Anisfield-Wolf Book Award for Fiction. She is the author of three previous works of fiction including, All is Forgotten, Nothing Is Lost (W.W. Norton, 2010) and Hunger. She has received numerous fellowships including an NEA, a Guggenheim, the Berlin Prize, and an Arts and Letters Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She is Director of The Iowa Writers' Workshop.
