Karen Whalley is the author of two collections of poems: My Own Name Seems Strange to Me (Grid Books, 2018) and The Rented Violin (Ausable Press, 2003). She received her M.F.A. from Warren Wilson and her poems have appeared in The Sun, American Poetry Review, Mississippi Review, Florida Review, and other journals. She lives in Port Angeles, Washington.
