Emily Rapp Black

Emily Rapp Black is the author of Sanctuary (Random House, 2021), The Still Point of the Turning World (Penguin Press), and Poster Child: A Memoir (Bloomsbury USA). She is currently Associate Professor of Creative Writing at the University of California-Riverside, where she also teaches medical narratives in the School of Medicine. Her book that explores art and disability through the life of Frida Kahlo is forthcoming from Nottinghill Editions/New York Review of Books in 2021.
